We believe that at the heart of our faith is the belief that God, our loving Father, has a divine plan for each of us. According to Romans 8:29, "For those God foreknew, He also predestined to be conformed to the image of His Son, that He might be the firstborn among many brothers and sisters." This scripture reveals the profound truth that God's intention for us is to transform us into the likeness of Christ.
This transformative journey involves several key aspects: (1) God's plan for us began long before we were born. In His infinite wisdom and love, He knew us and chose us to be part of His family. (2) Being conformed to the image of Christ means that we are gradually transformed to reflect His character, love, and holiness. (3) Jesus is the firstborn among many brothers and sisters, indicating that He is the model and leader for all who follow Him.(4) Through prayer, studying God's Word, and fellowship with other believers, we are shaped more into the likeness of Christ. (5) As we are transformed, we are called to live out our Father's will on earth. This involves serving others, sharing the gospel, and embodying Christ's love in our daily lives. Our ultimate goal is to bring glory to God and fulfill His purpose for us.
In embracing this divine plan, we find our true identity and purpose as children of God, continually growing into the mature image of His Son, Jesus Christ.
